Quite a day with some easter animals! See this one, calm and cute. It doesn't move.This one, however, held very still and when I went to touch it, IT MOVED!

Marking my first year

In honor of surviving my first year, my mom made me a collage.

Tessa's 1st birthday

I had a great 1st birthday. (Mom says, sorry it took a week to get the pictures up, she was sick and had a good fall snowboarding the day after my birthday, and has been healing since then.)

Anyhow, this is my uncle Bill (actually, my great, great Uncle Bill) with his puppet. He did a special show for me at my party.Here is a GIANT candle my great grandma and grandpa sent me. I will burn it a little bit every birthday, until I am 21.

My very own cake. This is the first time, I have ever been exposed to pure, unadulterated sugar!!

I liked it!

But soon, it became too much!

Tessa's 1st birthday; continued

After all the cake, they put me (the littlest Sink) in the sink for a much needed bath.Then, things got kinda wierd

And even more so, as the night went on.

Finally, they put my clothes back on and my Birthday buddy, Tom, helped put me to bed.

Rounding the Bend

This saturday is my 1st birthday. I will let you know how the cake goes. It is being made special for me by my friend Holly.Last weekend, Mom, Papa, and my friend Tom (who happens to share the same birthday as me) went up to Arapahoe Basin to go snowboarding. I enjoyed chillin' in the lodge.

This week, Papa introduced me to ice cream. Ben & Jerry's is a godsend! After I took my first bite, I turned around to see a huge line of other ice cream fans.

Then Papa played some funny songs for me on his guitar.
