Tessa's 4th b-day scavanger hunt (10 weeks late)....

A burried treasure was found, in a dry creek bed on the outskirts of Fort Collins, Colorado on Sunday afteroon. It was identified as homemade rainbow cupcakes with gold chocolate coins inside. Wittnesses claimed their parents led them on a wild goose chase before finding the treasure, but participants claim, it was well worth the work. Later peels of laughter and the song "Happy Birthday" was heard off in the distance, and within 20 minutes of the find, all the evidence was gone.

The chase began with a frenzied game of freeze tag, which proved to be a bit confusing for a large group of 4 year olds.

The group also had to face wild animals who were guarding the buried treasure.

Participants also had to decipher ancient codes made of bark, sticks, grass and rocks, with only the help of a crayon and tracing paper.
